The Glazers have finally stepped down for Qaterri to take over Manchester United.

Erik ten Hag recently met the Glazers wanting an update on the sale of the club but a major split in the key decision makers has seen the takeover stall

Erik ten Hag recently met with the Glazers in the US to discuss the proposed takeover of Manchester United which has reached an impasse.

Ten Hag met Avram Glazer at United’s pre-season base in New Jersey after he previously revealed his intentions to speak to the owners regarding the takeover saga.

The Glazers first made their intentions to sell United known in November last year and despite receiving bids matching their £6billion asking price, there’s been no movement on their future with the club.

And the lack of movement in the takeover comes from the Glazer family who are said to still be split over whether to sell the club or not.

Avram and Joel Glazer are believed to still want to remain in control of the Old Trafford outfit but other members of the family want to relinquish their stake in the club.

Bids from Britain’s richest man Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Qatari Sheikh Jassim are yet to be accepted despite meeting the asking price that was set.
